My family loves apples! Recently we went apple picking and picked about 70 pounds of apples! Check out our apple picking experience here!  Since we have so many apple I have some really great apple recipes for you!  One of my favorites is one that is already posted on Crunchy Savings.  Apple Butter!!  Click here to check out the recipe!

Step 1:  Core apples and place in crock pot.

Step 2:  Pour apple cider vinegar in with the apples.

Step 3: Cook on high until tender.

Step 4: Puree apples.  I used an immersion blender, but a food processor or regular blender would work too.

Step 5:  Add cinnamon, sugar, and any other spices of your choice.

Step 6: Cook on High for 3 hours.

Step 7: Remove lid and cook on low uncovered for 10 hours.  Apple butter will cook down.

Step 8: Place in clean jars.

Step 9: Process in a water bath canner for 15 minutes.
