It is very hard to believe that it is already the beginning of September!  With the start of the new month I always re-organize my coupon box to start the month off fresh!  When organizing my coupon box ( check out my coupon box organizing method here!) there are several things I do:

1. Throw away any paper/shopping lists that are still floating around in the box.
2. Finish cutting out any coupons that I have just laid on the top.
3. Go through every envelope to check all the dates of my coupons.  I make sure I pull out all expired coupons as well as any that are expiring soon that I know that I need to use.  By going through my box once a month it refreshes my memory on what coupons I have on hand.
4. Organize the coupons out by category to make them easier to find.

If I take the 30-45 minutes to get organized at the beginning of the month I find that I do not spend time looking and digging for coupons, everything is neatly organized and easy to find!!
