I am a huge fan of the Duggar Family and one thing that they say that always sticks me is “Buy used and saved the difference!”. I have found this to be so true! Especially with kids clothes! I just don’t see paying full price for clothing that kid safe going to get stains on it or they will out grow quickly. I also like the whole aspect of reduce, reuse, and recycle by purchasing items second hand.
Once we found out that we were having a baby girl I have had my eyes open for deals on little girl clothes. We have NOTHING for a little girl! A neighbor mentioned that she a lot of little girl clothes if I would like to go through them. Of course I loved this idea!!
I arranged a time for myself and my mom to go look the baby clothes Sunday afternoon. My hubby was out-of-town with the kids and it was a great time for my mom and I to spend the afternoon together having lunch and looking at baby clothes.
We hit the jackpot on baby clothes! Everything was in perfect condition! Nothing had a single stain on it. I would say 95% of everything was in “like new” condition!! In fact we opened the first box, saw how everything was so neat and clean and just made an offer on the entire lot!
Here is a picture of everything after I got it home and started digging through it a little:
