Over the last few months I have been posting about Hidrentitis Suppurativa  to give awareness to the condition. ( Be sure to check out my posts on HS here!)   I personally have had HS under control for myself with very few flare ups.  As I began posting about HS I was contacted by a company to try a natural/ homeopathic product that they offered.  I received the product well over a month a go and I have to say it is AMAZING!!

My Review:

I have been  using Emuaid over the last two months for myself and for the kids.  It has been amazing for the kids with cuts, scrapes, and bug bites.  I love that it is a natural product and I do not have to worry about the long term effects of it with the kids.

My husband has also used it several times for cuts and scrapes and thought that it really helped to speed up the healing time.  Dan also felt that he was using much less of the Emuaid than if he would have used first aid cream.

Now lets talk about what this product can really do!   It worked well for my husband and my kids, and I am happy to report I was able to truly put it to the test!  Shortly after receiving the product my HS flared up.  (Unfortunately it is in an area that I am choosing not to post pictures of!)  Immediately I began using Emuaid!

Typically when I have a flare up, most of the pain comes from the swelling in the surrounding affected area.  In my case it never fails, my flare ups are always in areas that are going to be rubbed by skin or clothing making it even more painful!  I used the Emuaid immediately and did still have swelling, but I did not have the pain that is normally associated with the flare up.

Four days after I began using Emuaid for my flare up I could feel the improvement. Typically it is 7-21 days before an abcess will drain on its own. ( typically waiting for the infection to come to the skin to burst)  While I was using the Emuaid, the pain was gone quickly and the infection had been pulled to the skin in 4-5 days.  From the start of my flare up to the skin healing was between 10-14 days.

Typically I could fight an HS flare up for several months and with the help of Emuaid it was only 2 weeks!

I am a very big believer that you get what you pay for.  Emuaid may seem pricey to some people ( $48.00 for a 2 oz container) but it TOTALLY worth the money.  We have been using our container of Emuaid quite a bit over the last two months and we have barely put a dent in it!  A little bit goes a LONG way!!

I will always have Emuaid in our house for treating first aid needs and especially to help manage HS!!!!!
