Saturday did not start out well for my family.  I honestly think everyone got up on the wrong side of the bed including myself and my husband!!  The weather was gorgeous and I wanted to get out in the garden ( which has been ignored because of the high heat lately and too much eat was equaling contractions for me!) and harvest as much as I could.

The boys woke up arguing Saturday morning.  I was able it hear it from my room before they even made it out of bed.  Of course the arguing continued down the hall and into are room, all through breakfast, and by the end of breakfast I had enough.

After breakfast I had an errand to run and I grabbed our youngest, Ian, who is 2 ( 3 this Friday!) and told my husband I was going to take him with me to get the boys away from each other.  Ian cried from the minute we walked out the door, all through the car, and all during our errand and kept telling me the same thing over and over:

” Where’s Bryson?”

“He’s my brother!”

“I miss him!”

“Go back and get Bryson!”

“I love him! He’s my brother!”

We were gone maybe a total of 20 minutes!  When we got home the first thing Ian did was give Bryson a big hug ( and the present he insisted on getting for him!!)  I took Ian with me to defuse the situation that was only escalating between the boys.  Apparently 20 minutes apart was the perfect time frame because they have been getting along ever since!!
