My family is Catholic and I love having the freedom of home schooling and being able to teach religion.  My kids are 2 and almost 5 and we were given an amazing non denominational book called “Our Together Time Bible.”

I love this book!  It has 52 bible stories that are perfect for my kids ages. The stories are just a few pages with lots of pictures and are told in ways that my kids can understand! I love that the book contains story related questions at the end of each of the 52 bible stories.  There is also a bible verse to remember, a prayer, and an activity idea!

I do school time with the kids 3 days a week, just like if we were attending preschool! Every school day we read the bible story and then we go through the questions, say the prayer ( in a repeat after me format!) and then one of the days we do the activity.  Sometimes the activity is enough to spread out over a few days!

Since my kids are younger I will probably go through this book several times before moving onto another book!  I find it amazing every time we read the same story in the week their responses change to the questions asked!

I  recommend this book HIGHLY!!! It has been a great addition to our school time!

My family is also a catholic and religion is very important to us. My mom always tell me that being religious can help you do right things. She’s right because as I can see myself right now, there are certain things that change me because of religion.
