In this economy it is hard to be able to go out and do something fun with the kids!  I am constantly looking for free things to do with my kids.  When If we go out to dinner it normally costs us at least $25.00 and that is even after coupons that I try to find or kids eat free days!  I also find eating out to be stressful with the kiddos.  We try to pick off-peak hours to go eat, but kids can only sit still for so long!

With my family recently losing an income I am looking even harder for free or cheap activities to do as a family!  We try to do a Stay At Home Family Fun Night a couple of times a month!  We have a Netflix account that we use a ton!!  If I can’t get a new movie quick enough I check out our local Redbox Movie Rental.  ( I receive a text the first Monday of the month with a free rental code good for that day only!)

Renting movies from Redbox are only a $1.06 after tax!  This week when I rented a family movie I received a bonus offer to rent a 2nd movie for only $.50!!  Family movie and grown up movie for only $1.59. We had a fun family night followed by an impromptu Stay At Home Date Night!

For family fun night we always eat dinner on the living room floor!  My son loves having a “picnic style” dinner! We have meals as simple as sandwiches or we make a homemade pizza!  This week we had a homemade Buffalo Chicken Pizza!

Movie Rental: $1.06

Homemade Buffalo Chicken Pizza approximately $3.75

Spending Time as a  family: PRICELESS!!

I LOVE THIS!! Pizza is normally a weekly staple in our house and I have tried making my own.. but the crust always seems to be a flop! Any ideas on things I may be doing wrong? I would love to buy a homemade pizza dough that doesn't have all the junk in it and save myself the frustration! Any favorite healthy brands?
Also, I can get an app on my phone from Redbox that gives me free rental codes!! YEAH BABY!

Green Bean Delivery has a frozen whole wheat pizza dough that you can have delivered with your weekly delivery. I believe it is either $2.50 or $2.75. I have bought the dough before and it is great!!
